When Red met Orange and mustard seeds came to life!

When I think about my childhood, some of my fondest memories are of bedtime stories with my mother.

She would finally settle down after dinner with a magazine in hand, hoping for a few quiet moments to herself. Within minutes, I would be beside her, asking for a story. She would flip through her magazine looking for a kid-appropriate one. 

Somewhere in the middle of the tale, before the prince reached the castle or the rabbit escaped the fox, I would drift off to sleep, happily holding her hand.

Broccoli vs Chocolate: The Parenting Debate Nobody Wins

 I recently watched a video of a little girl being offered every kind of sweet treat imaginable—chocolates, candy bars, lollipops. She pushed them all away and lit up only when someone handed her a bowl of broccoli.

The caption read: "These parents are superheroes."

And honestly? They probably are.

But what about the parents who want to raise their children that way but simply can't, despite their best efforts?
